Win an early copy of the ASSASSINS ANONYMOUS sequel, December events, and other updates
The holiday season is upon us!
We Need Diverse Books is holding its annual Authors for Voices of Color auction! The money raised goes to internship grants and professional program for diverse college students/recent grads, books and materials for underfunded schools, and resources to help authors impacted by book bans.
So, it’s a very good thing! There’s a ton of cool stuff you can bid on—including an advance copy of The Medusa Protocol, the sequel to Assassins Anomymous! The direct link to that is here.
The auction ends tonight (Dec. 10), so, get in there! It’s already up to $118 (as of me typing this). If you don’t want that, go bid on something else.
I’ve got two events coming up this month.
On Dec. 17, there’s a celebration of
at Kew and Willow in Queens. Alex has put out, I dunno, fourteen books this year? I lost count. I’m going to be on a panel with Alex and some other authors to talk about his titanic output. More details here. The following night, Dec. 18, me and Alex will FINALLY celebrate the release of Dark Space at PT Knitwear in Manhattan. We were supposed to do this in October but I got the flu, and then November was nuts. We’d love to see you there. You can get tickets here—if you plan to come, please do that ASAP. They’re keeping an eye on headcount.
Are you on Bluesky? I’m on Bluesky now! Threads has been kind of lame, whereas Bluesky has that “early days of Twitter” energy. Remember, when people made jokes and had fun, before it was bought by a dipshit and it got overrun by Nazis?
Don’t forget, the holidays are upon us! Books are a fantastic gift. Mine are good (cough cough Assassins Anonymous The Warehouse The Paradox Hotel Dark Space), but any book will do. Just make sure to get them from a local independent bookstore, or Bookshop.org. Jeff Bezos has enough money.
I’m putting together a list of stuff I enjoyed in 2024, so keep an eye out for that.
That’s it for now!
