DARK SPACE, the new novel from me and Alex Segura, lands tomorrow
Imagine if John le Carré wrote 'Star Trek'...
FOLD 321-B, 4.1 LIGHT-YEARS FROM EARTH
MOSAIC FLIGHT DECK
Lieutenant Commander Jose Carriles watched as his coffee mug spun at eye level, tendrils of the black liquid spiraling off the white ceramic and shimmering in the flight deck lights. He figured they had about twenty minutes until every single person on the Mosaic was dead.
Thus begins Dark Space, the new novel from me and my good pal
! It follows two characters—Jose Carriles, piloting a mission to an uninhabited exoplanet, and Timony Corin, a disgraced spy on New Destiny, humanity’s home on the moon. It’s supposed to be humanity’s next great step into the universe. But things start to go wrong pretty quickly...
This all started when Alex texted me a few years ago and asked if I wanted to jam on a sci-fi novel with him. Of course I did. And now here we are.
Here’s what folks have been saying about it!
“A perfectly tuned sci-fi epic!” —Charles Soule, #1 New York Times bestselling author of Star Wars: Light of the Jedi
“A propulsive mash-up of space epic and spy thriller that keeps you guessing from start to finish.” —M. R. Carey, USA Today bestselling author of The Girl with All the Gifts
“Packed with action and intrigue and so fast-paced, the pages practically turn themselves.” —Alma Katsu, author of Black Vault
“Segura and Hart interweave their styles seamlessly in this stellar blend of space opera and spy thriller.” —Publishers Weekly
“This clever science fiction novel is a perfect choice for readers looking for a perilous adventure with a dash of coziness.” —Library Journal
It’s currently available in hardcover, ebook, and audiobook, from Blackstone. You can learn more about the book and find the links to get it here.
